Masterclasses
Edith Wiens has taught masterclasses in Vienna, at the Juilliard School in New York, the Ravinia Steans Institute for Young Artists, in London at the Guildhall and the RCM, at the Banff Centre for the Arts Canada, Europäische Festwochen Stuttgart with Helmuth Rilling, at the Franz Schubert Institut Baden bei Wien, the Mozarteum Salzburg, and at many other universities, colleges and Young Opera Ensembles all over the world. She enjoys a close collaboration in particular with the Young Ensembles of the Munich Nationaltheater and the Dresden Semperoper. Edith Wiens is the artistic director of the International Meistersinger Academy, which was created to support emerging artists.
